Springs Tree Blossoms Photography

Just a quick post today sharing some spring photography. Snapshots of what I am working on. I have been trying to get out a few times a week in between being busy & in between weather to capture some blossoms on trees & bushes. The trees have been stunning this spring. Maybe the lack of rain has kept them blooming a little longer? They are bursting at the seems with blooms.

This photographs was taken of some local bushes along a path near the west side of  Templeton, CA. The brush captured my eye with its amazing color. I had to catch some of natures beauty. The blossoms on the bush were so full with bees buzzing drinking up its nectar. I didn’t smell any fragrance, but I wasn’t going to get too close with all the bees. They didn’t bother me & I didn’t bother them. I am not sure the name of this bush.

I caught the end of the flowering stage just before the weather had a few days of heat, then rain knocking off the blossoms & leaves on the dogwood trees appearing. The trees were lined on a busy street. I only wanted to capture the image of the blooming branches so I photographed some close ups. From a distance they looked magnificent maybe next year I can find them in an orchard somewhere & take some photographs. I am going to drive by a place I remember to see if some of the trees still have their blooms if not, next year I am making note to get out there in February – Early March to try again.

& these might just be cherry blossoms from the non edible family. I’ll be sharing my original photographs on Flickr soon. You may share any of these images on your blog/site as long as you link back & give full credit. I hope this finds you having the time to take a walk or stop the car, pull out your camera’s or just enjoy nature in springs full glory.
